When launching a padel club, expanding a sports facility or adding a court to a hotel, residential complex or private home, one of the first decisions is choosing the court model.
It is not only a question of aesthetics. The structure, the visibility from the outside, the available space, the installation site and the intended use of the court are all factors worth considering before making a decision.
At Padel Hispania we manufacture three models of padel court: Roma, World Panoramic Tour and Full Panoramic. Three different solutions that allow us to adapt each project to its real needs.
In addition, the Roma and World Panoramic Tour models are available in a Single or individual format, measuring 20 x 6 metres, a particularly interesting alternative when there is not enough space to install a conventional 20 x 10 metre court.
Let's look at the main differences and the type of project each one may suit best.
A regulation doubles court has interior dimensions of 20 metres long by 10 metres wide. From there, the design of the structure and, especially, the arrangement of the metal elements and glass surfaces make it possible to create different configurations.
Other elements that are fundamental to the final result also come into play: the quality and treatment of the steel, the tempered glass, the type of turf, the lighting and the anchoring systems.
That is why, when we talk about different types of padel court, we are not talking only about design. We are also talking about strength, safety, durability and adaptation to the use the facility will have.
At Padel Hispania we work with three main models: Roma, World Panoramic Tour and Full Panoramic.
The Roma is our most classic court concept. Its metal structure supports the tempered glass panels and creates an especially solid and resistant assembly.
It is a very versatile court, designed to work well in very different facilities and especially suitable when you are looking for a reliable, durable solution with an excellent balance between performance and investment.
Its design makes it a common choice for sports clubs, padel academies, municipal facilities, residential complexes and projects with several courts.
The Roma stands out especially for three aspects: robustness, versatility and durability.
Not every project needs a court with the smallest possible structural presence. When the goal is a resistant, functional facility ready to withstand intensive use, a classic model such as the Roma may be precisely the most suitable option.
In addition, the Roma is also available in a Single format of 20 x 6 metres, keeping the main features of the model in projects where the available space is more limited.
The World Panoramic Tour takes a further step towards the panoramic court concept.
In this model, the metal structure is concentrated mainly in the corners, leaving a much cleaner view of the playing area. This improves visibility from the outside and achieves an especially attractive look for clubs, hotels and projects in which the court is also part of the image of the facility.
It is our premium model and one of the options we recommend for clubs that want to take special care of the player's experience and the overall appearance of their facilities.
Its combination of structure, glass and design makes it possible to maintain a high level of resistance without giving up the aesthetics characteristic of a panoramic court.
Because of its features, it fits especially well in high-end clubs, main show courts, hotels, resorts and projects intended for competition.
The World Panoramic Tour can also be manufactured in a Single format, combining the reduced dimensions of an individual court with the panoramic design of the model.
The Full Panoramic takes the panoramic concept a step further.
Its design reduces the visual presence of the structure to a minimum to achieve a much greater integration between the court and its surroundings. The result is an especially clean view of the game, something that becomes important in competitions, events and broadcasts.
It is a court designed for projects in which the design is part of the facility itself and where the court must also fulfil an image function.
That is why it is an especially interesting solution for tournaments, professional events, premium clubs or facilities where the aim is to create a central or showcase court.
The difference compared to the World Panoramic Tour is not simply that both are panoramic. The Full Panoramic takes that philosophy even further, minimising the visual impact of the structure as much as possible.
Not every project has the space needed to install a conventional padel court. For these cases there is another possibility: the single or individual padel court.
While a doubles court measures 20 x 10 metres, the individual court reduces its width to 6 metres, keeping the 20 metres of length.
This difference makes it possible to install a padel court in locations where a conventional court would not fit and to make use of spaces that might otherwise be ruled out.
At Padel Hispania we offer our Roma and World Panoramic Tour models in an individual format, keeping their design and main features.
The Single court is especially interesting for hotels, residential complexes, private homes, sports centres or facilities with space limitations.
Its 20 x 6 metres make it possible to enjoy padel in a one-against-one format without needing the 200 m² of playing surface of a conventional doubles court.
And having less space does not mean giving up design. You can opt for the more classic and robust configuration of the Roma Single or for the greater visual openness of the World Panoramic Tour Single.
It is, ultimately, a solution for a fairly common situation: wanting to add padel to a project and not having the 20 x 10 metres needed for a conventional court.

This classification serves as a guide, but it does not mean that one model is better than another. The choice depends on where it will be installed, the intended use, the available space and the priorities of each project.
This is another important decision and it is independent of the chosen model.
A Roma, World Panoramic Tour or Full Panoramic court can be part of an indoor or outdoor project, but the installation conditions are not the same.
On an outdoor court, special attention must be paid to factors such as wind, rain, humidity, proximity to the sea or the environmental conditions of the area. In these cases, the treatment of the metal structure becomes especially important to protect it against corrosion and extend its service life.
Installing an indoor court is not the same as installing an outdoor court a few metres from the sea or in an area with particularly demanding weather conditions. The model may be the same, but the needs of the project change.
At Padel Hispania we have different solutions and treatments for the structure depending on the conditions of each facility, such as double coating or hot-dip galvanising for projects that require greater protection.
That is why we study the conditions of each location before defining the final configuration of the court.
It depends on how the club is planned.
In a project with several courts, for example, it is not compulsory to install the same model on all of them. Different solutions can be combined depending on the intended use of each court.
One configuration might be to use Roma courts for much of the facility and reserve a World Panoramic Tour or Full Panoramic as the main court, especially if tournaments, events, broadcasts or sponsor activations are going to be organised.
In other projects, especially in premium clubs, hotels or resorts, it may make sense to go directly for panoramic courts throughout the facility.
There may even be locations where a specific area does not allow a doubles court, but does allow a Roma Single or World Panoramic Tour Single of 20 x 6 metres.
Before deciding, we recommend considering, among other aspects:
The court should be part of the overall approach of the project, not chosen solely for its appearance.
Two courts can look similar at first glance and yet have important differences in materials, thicknesses, treatments, welds, glass, hardware, turf or corrosion protection systems.
These differences are especially important when the court will be subjected to intensive use or installed outdoors.
A slightly lower initial investment may cease to be so if, over time, problems appear such as corrosion, deformations, premature replacements or greater maintenance needs.
That is why, in addition to comparing models and prices, we recommend analysing what each court really includes and how it is made.

What types of padel courts are there?
There are different designs and configurations, although one of the main differences is between courts with a more classic structure and panoramic courts. At Padel Hispania we offer three main models: Roma, World Panoramic Tour and Full Panoramic. In addition, the Roma and World Panoramic Tour can be manufactured in a Single or individual format.
What is the difference between a classic and a panoramic court?
The main visual difference is in the structure. Panoramic courts reduce the structural elements that interfere with the view through the glass ends, achieving a cleaner view from the outside.
Which is the best court for a padel club?
There is no single model valid for all clubs. A facility with many courts may prioritise robustness and investment optimisation, while a premium club may give more importance to design and visibility. It is also possible to combine different models within the same project.
What is the difference between the World Panoramic Tour and the Full Panoramic?
Both are panoramic courts, but the Full Panoramic aims to reduce the visual presence of the structure even further, achieving an especially clean view of the game. The World Panoramic Tour combines high visibility with a structure designed to maintain a great balance between aesthetics, resistance and functionality.
How big is an individual padel court?
An individual or Single padel court measures 20 x 6 metres, compared with the 20 x 10 metres of a conventional doubles court. At Padel Hispania we offer our Roma and World Panoramic Tour models in an individual format, an especially interesting alternative when the available space does not allow a court of conventional dimensions.
For which projects is a Single court recommended?
Because of its smaller dimensions, it can be especially interesting for hotels, private homes, housing developments, sports centres and facilities with reduced spaces. It also makes it possible to use areas of a plot or facility where a conventional 20 x 10 metre court would not fit.
Can the courts be installed outdoors?
Yes. Our different models can be part of indoor and outdoor projects. In outdoor facilities it is especially important to study the environmental conditions of the location and correctly select the treatments and finishes of the structure to guarantee its protection and durability.
Are Padel Hispania's courts approved?
Yes. 100% of our court models are approved by the Spanish Padel Federation (FEP).
